Does anybody know any schools in Brazil where I could teach English, even though I don't speak Portugese?

  1. Try "Alumni" , "Cel-lep" (not sure about the spelling), "Berlitz", "Uniao Cultural Brasil Estados Unidos", "Cultura Inglesa".,  "Yazigi"... these are the most reputable ones. But English schools in Brazil are like Starbucks coffee shops here in the US...there's one on every corner. From my understanding, you don't need to speak Portuguese if you're teaching advanced spoken English.

And...there's always the possibility of teaching businessmen. There's a big market for that in Brazil. The problem with that is you'd need a vehicle and you'd be doing a lot of driving 'cause you'd have to go to your clients' workplace.

Getting a job should not be a problem for you. Brazilians are obssessed with learning English, even though most of them speak very little of it, even after they've been studying it for a while!

  2. If you go, you can find them easily once you're there, especially if you're a licensed teacher.

Much of your ability to teach there will depend on whether they like you.

    Good luck!
