I need help translating this email into Japanese (kanji). Please DO NOT use an online translator! I will know if you did!! Anyone who can translate this for me, I will be extremely grateful.
Also, I am not sure what a formal greeting and sign-off would be in Japanese, so if you could replace the ones I have with proper ones, that would be amazing. THANKS!!!

Greetings,
My name is S----- R-----. I am a 17-year-old female high school student in Minnesota, United States. For many years it has been my dream to study in a Japanese high school. I am very interested in the culture of Japan and the Japanese language, and am hoping to attend a Japanese university once I learn the language. I am a very motivated student and have worked hard all through my high school years so far (I will be going into my final year). I was accepted into several exchange programs such as AFS and Youth For Understanding, however, after seeing the total cost, my parents and I realized that we could never afford such a program. Since then I have been looking into alternatives such as private schools that offer exchange (such as Osaka Girls School) and boarding schools that accept foreign students. However, using he internet I have not been able to find information on such schools, and was hoping you could provide me with more information. I am looking for high schools that accept foreign students and place them with host families, or schools with student housing (such as a boarding school) that accept foreign students. Any help would be much appreciated as this is my last chance to study in Japan during high school, and it has been my life's dream.
much gratitude,
S---- R-----
