  1. Castellano (Spanish in Spain) uses "vaqueros" for jeans.  Most of Latin American prefers "jeans".  (Latin American Spanish is generally more influenced by English than is the Spanish of Spain.)

    Gracias por su email.  Le devolveré el importe en cuanto lleguen.  Le mandaré un correo cuando haya recibido los vaqueros.  (This is Castellano Spanish).

  3. I've never heard anyone (and I lived in Mexico) call jeans "pantalones vaqueros" (cowboy pants).  Most common today is "jeans" but also "pantalones de mesclilla".  I would think that pantalones vaqueros might also be a translation of "chaps".

    Italian guy changes from familiar to formal, you need to stay consistent:

    Gracias por tu mensaje.  Te devolveré tu dinero tan pronto como lleguen aquí.  Te avisaré por correo electrónico tan pronto reciba yo los jeans.

    (you can change to formal -- change all "tu" to "su" and "te" to "le").
