i need help with these words! (as what they mean)

1.chromium

2.chromoscope

3.hyperchromia

4.hypochromia

i need to match them with these defs:

a.lack of color

b.optical instrument used tovariousverious properties of color, including value and intensity

c.excessive pigmentation (color), as of the skin

d.elemant used for making pigments

    I know this because of common sense. the suffix scope is like microscope so thats why I think chromoscope is B. Hyper means too much which is why I said Hyperchromia is C. Hypo is like hypoglicemic not enough sugar so thats why hypochromia is A. and chromium is an element because its sounds like ohter elements barium, aluminum etc.

    Even if you don't know what the words mean, it's easy to determine from the roots. -ium is a common suffix for elements and minerals. -scope refers to an instrument. Hyper- means excessive, or too much. Hypo- means too little or lack of.

  9. never heard of these words specifically... but here's some general vocabulary hints.

    hypothermia means your temperature is too low.  so i bet that hypochromia would be lack of color

    hyperthermia or hyperextension means too hot or extended too far... so i bet that hyperchromia is excessive color

    which leaves chromium and chromoscope out of those two chromoscope sounds linke an instrument used to observe color

    and chromium seems to be the root word of all of these and would probably be the elemant used to make color (pigment)
