It's in Scotland.

You might not have noticed, due to the utter lack of anything related to Scotland on the national BBC news, but when it's piddling down rain over most of England Scotland is bathing in sunshine.

I don't know why this is, I can only assume it's something affecting air currents in the North Atlantic forcing wet weather further south while still allowing warm weather to come north.

Weather in Scotland this year so far has been better than almost any year I can remember. If it means a bad winter, I'm happy with the deal. Might get to go winter climbing in snow for a change.
