  6. well, in England i don't know.

But in Portugal, we don't have a decent summer, for the last 8 years.

In fact, for the last 8 years, the weather in Portugal is being very changed.

Normally, we use to have, since May until mid September warm and sun, and that's why we have so many tourism.

Nowadays we have good sun and warm olny for a 1 and 1/2 month (June and July) and August starts rainy and cold.

At the beginnings of September we have a extremely hot weather that goes for two weeks, and then starts rain and cold again.

In Lisbon area, for the last 5 years, we are having some days in winter that snows.

That was a very rare happening just 10 years ago

PS - watch the Al Gore's movie...

  12. would be nice but i wouldn't run to the betting shop and place a bet.

  13. We are overdue a long hot summer. 95 was the last great one from June to September.

  14. High pressure has ridged in,  accounting for the drier conditions you are now experienced but by the 11th of May an area of low pressure is expected to move in.   Expect moister conditions,  though right now temperatures across the area have been near normal.
