If you have not concerning high gas prices and demanding drilling for oil at home, nuclear power, clean coal use dont whine just do it. Here is the info you need.

I actually work for a US Senator.

The Senate uses a system called Intertrac--every opinion from every phone call, letter, walk-in is entered in this system. At the end of the day, we get reports back from all of our offices with a summation of our constituents opinions. The Senator receives the same list.  Now whether or not he votes according to these opinions is completely at his discretion--and it is at YOUR discretion, whether or not to re-elect him. Your voice does matter, and you should use it accordingly!
