Liverpool midfielder, Jose Enrique believes that the Reds ace striker, Luis Suarez will go on to score many more goals, following his hat-trick against Norwich City in a league match on Saturday.
The Uruguayan footballer is currently the leading goal scorer for the Reds with 17 scalps, and has scored 11 league goals in 29 appearances this season. pounds move to Anfield in January 2011.
Enrique, who himself moved to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 from Newcastle in August last year, waxed lyrical about the striker’s performance against Norwich, and admitted that he was shocked to see him score from close to the half-line.
Suarez spotted the Canaries shot stopper to be standing off his line in the closing stages of the second half, and completed his hat-trick from a spectacular 45 yards shot.
“It was an amazing performance from Luis. I don't think I've ever seen a better hat-trick than that. They were all amazing goals - the first with his left foot, the second with his right and then the third was unbelievable from so far out.” Enrique told
the reporters.
The 26-year old Spanish player also highlighted the fact that Suarez has remained a victim of bad fortune throughout the season, and the quality of his goals on Saturday depicted his true calibre.
Suarez, who also spent a four year spell with Ajax, scored 111 goals for the Dutch side in 159 appearances. Besides, he has also represented http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Uruguay-c3035 in 52 International matches and scored 26 goals.
Enrique predicted that the striker will go on to become a Liverpool star, and that his impressive goal tally will further soar at Anfield.
“I know he will score many more goals here in the Premier League. Wherever he has been, whether in Uruguay or Holland, if you look at his record he's scored a lot. I'm sure he will do the same here because he's a top striker.” He added.
