I'm debating on which sport I should try out for, field hockey or XC.
I know i love LOVE field hockey, but i haven't played in about a year due to a family tragedy. I've basically just got over the most intense part of my emotional struggle, and haven't been exercising regularly.. more like on and off. I'm worried that I'm not going to do very well. I know when I played I was right on par with the best girl on the team, but that was a while ago. I do love the sport, and i'm willing to work my butt off during tryouts, and put my whole effort into it. As much as i've got.
But, i'm really anxious about the whole tryout thing. if i don't make it, i'll be so mad at myself. so mad.
i know for XC you're in no matter what, so i'm not as worried about not being in the best shape (yet!) and running is always great. I don't love love it like i love FH, but hey, it'll definitely get me in shape.
What do you guys think I should do??
And, If i don't make the FH team, do you think I could shoot for XC? There are multiple practice/tryout days for both...
