Question:

Entering high school?

So I'm homeschooled right now, and I have a choice, either to go to a public school which I don't want to in September, or stay homeschooled. During the year I can take a test to go to a really good school and go there in 10th grade.

My question is, will it be the same as entering 9th grade as a freshman? I don't want to miss out on all the stuff that freshmen do...

So if I go to 10th grade next year to a normal school, will I feel okay there? Like, around all the people that know each other and stuff?

  1. Anytime you go somewhere knew, whether a new school, new church, or new town, you are going to have to get to know people before you will really comfortable there.  If you aren't ready to go this year, or if you really want to go to the "really good school" next year, then wait and do that.  I don't think you will miss out on much by waiting the extra year.
