Entering the USA For Holiday?

Hi, im from ireland and am looking for some advise.In 2001 I went to America on the 90 day visa but overstayed by approx 60 days.I never handed back in the green form and told the airline lady I lost it. In 2008 I returned for a holiday and got in fine. No questions were asked. They took my finger prints and pic and everything was fine. I then went on to Mexico and retunrned via America, again no questions were asked entering america. Im going back to America next year in May 2009, do you think I will get in again ok or could my over stay in 2001 show up. Thanks

There are news stories every day about someone who overstayed his or her visa getting caught subsequently after not getting caught before.
