Entertaining my three year old niece?

Question

I am keeping my three year old niece two days this week and I'm not sure exactly what I should do to keep her entertained. It is supposed to rain here so I can't take her to the park. I have some coloring books and paint for her but she only sticks with something for about 15 minutes and then she gets bored. She doesn't have a very good attention span. So, I need some ideas of how to keep her entertained all day. Thanks for your help.

Kids this age love to play pretend.  You can take any random thing in your house and make a game out of it.  A pillowcase can be a superhero cape, pots and pans can be a drum set etc..  My dad invented a great game where he uses his first two fingers as legs and walks them around making them talk.  A bit crazy, but my daughter plays it constantly!

do her nails and make up, my cousin (who is 3 too) luvs it when i do hers. and maybe some movies or indoor games.

Get some blocks or those big floor puzzles. My kids love those. Or you could take her to the children's museum or Chuck E Cheeses.

just play with her me and my nieces crawl around and make up games and even when i get bored they love it.

I Agree. Do Her Make-Up & Hair. Play Princess's With Her. Bake Some Cupcakes or Brownies. Watch Disney Movies! Make A Forst (castle). The Next Time, Play Hide & Seek. Or Make A Tresure Hunt For Her 2 Find Little Toy's or Candy. Good Luck!

have her bring over some books and read with her.

Play music and sing and dance together.

have her help you clean up, that makes some feel big and important.

she will probably have ideas of her own as well.

its easy to make some playdough my three yr old loves making different shapes etc with it also ask the parent if possible to send over her favourite movie or toys, even playing with pots and pans is great fun
