Found this insect in garage. 04/27/08 62°F, Southern Michigan. Can you indentify?

  1. Vot doesn't have her degree yet, but as far as I can see that's definitely a member of the Arachnida class. I would have called it a member of the order Scorpionida but I think the segmented tail is missing.

    I'm not sure, like I said I'm not an expert- yet.

    EDIT: I checked out some online pictures, the closest to yours is the order Pseudoscorpiones (false scorpions). Compare yourself with the pics at this link;
