  1. duuurrr. people should learn to recycle more! in my town, they gave everyone recylcling bins and they said for us to recycle

  2. yes especially in south america

that is why many people are recycling now

  3. The one up the road is still intact! - so not all of them.

  4. Are you crazy!!! Of course not!!!! Not all of them!!!!

    Just SOME.

If they cut down ALL of the forests, we would be left with a VERY LITTLE amount of trees!!!! I mean A LITTLE BIT!

People ARE cutting down a significant amount of rainforest land to use for farming. The used by the farmers becomes  COMPLETELY exhausted of what little nutrients it had. Rainforest land has very little of the minerals that regular crops like corn, potatoes, carrots and the like would need, so the crop would become mineral sponges and literally suck the land DRY!!!! The once rainforest land therein becomes TOTALLY USELESS!!!! This totally useless land is then abandoned and the local farmer goes to another section of rainforest/jungle/or forest and repeats the whole process over again. The end result is a bunch of useless land. That's it.

It's quite sad, but that's what happens.

  5. Yep!

  6. no, not all the forests are being cut down; a mojority- yes.

There are several reasons as to why they are being cut down!

    a. people need to recycle.

    b the pine beetle

    c.shelter.

    and many more.

We need to slow down or the economy is going to drop like a anchor.

  7. Not *all*. But too many!

  8. No not all.

Did you know that the tropical forests are a lot more helpful in scrubbing out the tons of CO2 we emit. In fact, they are much more helpful than the forests in the colder regions.

There is a mechanism whereby "rich" countries in the north often pay "poor" countries in the tropics to preserve their forests. This payment is to share the cost of "poor countries" not being able to use those forest resources for development. Satellite imaging is used to make sure that those forests are not cut down.

But yes, you can reduce the number of trees that need to be cut but re-cycling and using re-cycled products. But please dont use plastic instead of paper, because that's even worse.
