Environment of Tomorrow?

do you think that the environment is presently in danger? If yes, how? Is this in your local community? What steps do you take to help the environment? Do you think that global warming affects animals in their native habitat? If so, how much do you think they are at risk? How much are we at risk?

yea, we are such a throw away society, almost everything can be recycled. I was getting something to eat and I watched this guy 5ft from a trash can throw a plastic(?) cup out his window. He just past the trash can, this happens all the time. you can not go to the beach without seeing trash. When did it become ok to throw trash on the ground? I recycle almost everything, everything that can be recycled. I have seen birds with plastic on their legs and other animals hurt by trash...TRASH. We need to be more aware that our actions have consequences. Open our eyes to the world around us and see what is happening. You should be able to walk in the park barefoot and not have to worry about stepping on something.

For an outlook on future environment, look to the past. Organisms adapt to maximise their potential in the current situation, adapting to changes or not as things change or don't. The current hysteria doesn't change this. In seeking to preserve things as they are now we are overlooking the very fundamentals of nature, the most prominent of which has always been change.
