Environmental Opinion Question?

Question

Are we responsible for ensuring that the world is functioning and a healthy place for our offspring to grow up in?

I believe that we are NOT responsible and that we shoud live our lives in the short-term and not have to plan our actions and consequences for the very long term. Consequently, I need help formulating some arguments or ideas that can help me support this point. ANy ideas would be appredicated.

PLEASE do not give me a differing opinion. I just want to prove what I said above not the opposite.

sorry for telling you this but you have a point. at some things we are not responsible for, and at some others we are.

How did you come to believe this? You must have some ideas on that.....unless this is for a debate and you have to take that stance.
