Environmental charities?

My school had a bake sale and raised a lot of money that we want to donate to an environmental charity... any suggestions of which charity?? I really have no idea...

Why not just buy some advertising in your town and promote protecting the environment on a billboard for a month or two.

Is there a Sierra Club in your area? A nature preserve? A state park?

Check http://www.volunteermatch.org and http://www.change.org to find environmental organizations in your area, or national organizations, that would be appropriate for your school's donation.
