for trusses, concrete... A major lesson in how to turn keen people off!

Yes, education hugely important!

But no good if making youngsters fearful of the future

because NO workable SOLUTIONS are mentioned!

Children today are exceedingly concerned about environmental problems, they read books and magazines and watch television programmes about green issues. However, often they do not appreciate or know about the things immediately around them. They often don’t compare global issues with local ones. That is why it is so very important to show them what is on their own doorstep.

Environmental education is presently a cross-curricular activity, which means that no one topic encompasses the entire subject. The topic is mainly dealt with in science. However, it is also to be found in a range of subjects as diverse as history, art, maths, and geography.
