Hey guys, I'm going to be 19 this April and I've decided that I would want to commute to work with a bicycle after I complete my education. I've seen on TV that pizza deliverers in NYC use bicycle to squeeze through traffic to deliver their pizza in record time. Due to my mom's protest, I'll only start commuting via bicycle after I can afford to make a living on my own. I do not mind the risk factor and I'm willing to contribute that small effort for the environment. It's good for health and I can save petrol money for other uses.

Are there any down-side in this besides safety?

  1. None that I can see if you're in a crowed urban environment, I'm sure a bike will be far less hassle unless you want to pick up a date or head out of town for the weekend.  You'll be in great shape, even if you might smell like a n*****k after a long ride.  It's really up to you.  By the way, I love the "Dad's Home" avatar pic you've got there.  Later!

  2. theft, its slow, can't pick up a date, can't go to the drive in.  just throwing that out there
