Why is the rising of the sea such a problem?

in the long run and in the short run?

  1. It is a huge issue because it results in coastal flooding, changes in surface water quality, increased loss of property, loss of tourism, and potential loss of life. In the long run, sea level rise could result in ''drowning'' of island nations and destruction of wetlands (a low area of land filled  with water)


  2. When the sea rises most of the earths land will be under-water! and more sea creatures and deadly ones too will be crated and we'll be doomed. Earths human population will go down by tonnes and so will animals, some animals will also be extinct and all will be lost!

  4. Any rising of the sea level will flood land, both populated and farmland. Some countries, like the Netherlands, may even be flooded completely.
