Is environmental science considered a biological or physical science?

We could debate it but if there you need to fill a course requirement it all depends on how your school district classifies it.

Environmental science at the high school level usually counts as a biology.  You should ask a science teacher or guidance counselor at your school and they can tell you how it works in your school district.

I would say environmental science is

both a physical and a biological science.

Environmental systems can be biological

and so oceanography is the main area,

or they can be physical like geological

or weather systems.
