Environmentally safe clothing?

i am doing a project, and i need to know a little about clothing, some bad materials and good ones for the environment..etc. for my project i want to be able to show swatches of environmentally safe products and such..

hemp clothing is good because it's natural and so is cotton. but synthetic materials like polyester and spandex are not good for the environment.
