Please explain principle of oxygenase asssay below for me...

"Determination of Oxygenase activity by monitoring O2 uptake using a Clark-type O2 electrode;

The assay mixtures contain NADH. After O2 had been consumed, add liver catalase to estimate the amount of H2O2 formed during the assay.

In some cases, withdraw and acidify the reaction mixture immediately . After centrifugation and filtration, analyze samples by HPLC."
