Enzymes and examples of enzymes?

what exactly is a enzyme, if i were required in a test to clearly define what a enzyme is , something like that

and some exmaples of enzymes, i missed out this whole topic in human bio and i have a test coming up......

Enzymes are biomolecules that catalyze (i.e. increase the rates of) chemical reactions. Enzymes are chemically proteins.

An enzyme is a protein that facilitates a biochemical reaction.  An example would be amylase in our saliva that breaks down starch.
