The left-hander started his career from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ireland-c751 but migrated to England and became an integral part of their limited overs setup.
He made his Test debut last year against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 in the same season.
Morgan claims that he has learnt a lot by playing in the IPL, because he had to face pressure situations more often than not.
He expressed that one has to be very consistent in T20 cricket and because of different conditions and hectic schedule, he has learnt the art of scoring.
“The learning curve I went through in IPL last year, the pressure I was put under, the fact of having to produce your skills time after time in massive situations, it helps my game a lot and I get a lot of confidence from it,” shared Morgan.

Morgan faced stiff competition for the Test spot by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ravinder-Singh-Bopara-c84233, who chose not to play in the IPL in order to strengthen his case for national selection.
Bopara has done well in the county cricket season and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750.
Morgan now has to be on his toes. A couple of poor performances could call for his replacement.
