England’s Twenty20 squad’s Vice Captain, Eoin Morgan, has said that he is happy with his newly assigned duties and is looking forward to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SCJ-Broad-c2465, continuing with their respective captaincy responsibilities.

The Irish based batsman was named as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013’s Twenty20 vice-captain after skipper Stuart Broad’s injury.
It was reported that Morgan would lead England’s Twenty20 side against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 in the only T20I game, played on June 25, in the absence of injured Broad. However, the injury did not stop Broad from starting his campaign with the match.
However, it was an unimpressive start for the skipper as he went for a duck in the Twenty20 match against Sri Lanka, played at County Ground, Bristol, which the visitors won by nine wickets.
Morgan became the top scorer for his side, as he scored 47 runs off 32 balls, including four fours and three sixes. Morgan said that he enjoyed batting with  http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kevin-Peter-Pietersen-c71169, who was the second highest run scorer, with 41 runs off 27 balls, including three
boundaries and two sixes.
Meanwhile, speaking about England’s loss in the match, the vice-captain said, “I enjoyed working with Stu in Bristol and it was just a shame we didn't produce the brand of cricket we want to on this occasion."
"I do enjoy leadership. It's something I like to show in my batting too, lead through example on the field. I feel obliged to do that and it's something I enjoy. I like to think there's a lot I can offer,” he further added.
The left-handed batsman also revealed that England needs to incorporate more consistency and continuity in their performance, especially ahead of next World Twenty20 tournament.
Morgan also negated speculations that he will soon take over as England’s ODI and Twenty20 captain, saying that three-man captaincy leads to no confusion. . He suggested that they should keep faith in the fact that every player in the team will fulfill his
job properly.
England will play their first One-Day International against Sri Lanka on June 28, 2011, under the captaincy of newly appointed ODI skipper, Alastair Cook.
