Ephemera: Where can I get documents/letterheads appraised?

I have a collection of documents archived, and would like to have them appraised for insurance purposes. Appreciate any suggestions on where I can find an appraiser or how to best get valuation of the documents.. Live in Southwestern US. TY.

I'd probably check with a good reputable local antique store. They can often steer you in the right direction. Ephemera is sort of a more specialized field..you might have to do a bit of research. There are a few societies of appraisers (one such link is below)

Just be cautious, as the internet appraisals are often sort of shady, and unfortunately there can be dishonesty in this field. Local word of mouth is your best bet to point you towards a reputable one.
