Epiphone Les paul pick ups

Question

Hey, I want to upgrade the pick ups in my epi les paul and I want something that has a good metal distortion but good harmonics also,I narrowed it down to these which one do you think is better or is there something else you would recommend.

1. Emg 85 in neck

Emg 81 in bridge

2. Dimarzio evo breed dp165 in neck

Dimarzio evo 2 in bridge

Hi Mike

i put DiMarzio on my old 1963 gibson Les Paul and never regretted it. I needed a good dirty sound and a smooth jazz sound when I put the volume down. DiMarzio offered just that.

Emg are no good for gibsons. You either use Seymour Duncan or DiMarzio. That is what we sell and intall the most at our shop.

I looked at your answer and I'm black. I want to go to a school that's culturally diverse. Not all black. Not all white. You have more oppurtunities if you go to a diverse school. I'm all the way from Georgia. I was just asking.
