Epiphone SG Special or Epiphone Les Paul Special II?

Which is better? Show your opinion for 2 Starters one thinks SG one thinks Les Paul solve it for us plz thnx

For starting out they're really going to be pretty similar.  The Special II is a little plain jane but I know they play ok.  The SG might be top, or headstock heavy.  Go to a music store that had them both and ask to try them on with a strap.  I had an SG that was SO headstock heavy I had to sell it.  

But, I personally would go with the SG because it's a little more Rock N Roll and it's a little different.  

You really need to play them both before you decide though.  Another thing to consider is the inconsistency of their production lines.  You might play 5 of those SG's and each one will play different.  So, go play them!!

PS - I pick the SG overall.
