Epiphone or Yamaha Acoustic?

I am looking to buy a secondary guitar for me to use and also for my buddies to use when the come over to jam. Looking at a Epiphone Hummingbird or Dove ect... or a Yamaha F370 or similar?

I play an FX-310

My buddy plays an Epiphone.  IIRC it's a Hummingbird.

I can't tell much difference in the sounds.  The action on his is a little better than my Yamaha.

I *can* tell the difference in sound between a Yamaha 300 series to a 400 series, though.  I should have shelled out a few more $$$ for a 400 series.

But, now what I *really* want is a Martin DX-1.  You ought to look into one of those.  Or, a low-end Taylor.  Both cost around $600 but they seem like they are more-than worth it.
