  1. It is awesome for muscle aches and pains.  You put like a cup in a bathtub with water and soak in it.  There is nothing like it to help after a strenous workout.

  2. Epsom salts are used to relieve muscle aches and pains. It has good antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. They are usually added to baths for soaking the affecting part of the body.

Epsom salts are also mixed with sea salts to make bath salts for extreme relaxation.

  3. I know my granny used to use it when she soaked her feet

  4. It can be used for sore muscles and tissues (like sore feet), but it helps for any overall skin health (when used externally) and as a laxative (when taken internally).

The major "dangers" are if you swallow too much of it at a time because it can give too much of a laxative effect. Also, if you took too much externally and internally combined, the extra minerals in it could be too much for your body to use and process out. All things in moderation  ;-)

  5. Epsom salt is excellent for soaking in to relieve sore muscles. It can also be used as a laxitive to clean out your body. Just mix 1 tablespoon in a glass of warm water, just be sure to be near a toilet.

  6. Some people say it makes the stalks of tomato and pepper plants stronger and healthier.
