Epson powerlite s5 projector?

can anyone tell me if it is a good projector

Depends what you want it for.

It's a light and bright 800x600 (4:3, SVGA) business projector, and Epson is a good reputable brand (Epson makes most of the LCD panels used by other projector manufacturers), BUT not very suited to home TV/video use due to the limited connectivity (no digital inputs), and low contrast ratio (400:1). Note it, has no true zoom lens so mounting flexibility is low.  See the 1st link for info and links to the spec sheet and manual.

The 2nd link is to a review -- and as a business projector it got a glowing report, but it was pointed out (as I said above) that while it will function as an HT projector that is not it's strong suit or recommended use.  A good projector though.
