I believe many women are UNaware of the Disadvantages

That come along with TRULY being Equal to men.

Many can only see the Advantages -they honestly Believe that if they were TRULY EQUAL to men they would be able to have there cake and eat it too.

I am All for Equal rights for Women because I know that if just over 90% of men VIEWED women as EQUAL no matter what the woman looked like.

MOST Women would not like a man treating her like she was another man.-

For Example: "Need Help?" 9 times out of 10 nobody would help you-

MOST men would treat you and your broke down car on the side of the road just like there was a Big fat Black man standing there-

they would just zoom right on by-MOST of the time.

How many Women are aware of the Disadvantages to MOST men treating them just like they would treat another man?

  1. There are obviously disadvantages like those yeah.

Women should also know that since it happends to men, it should happend to them too; for example, in war , the goverment calls 18+ men to war....so will to women.

    And yeah, street fights also.

And other militar services, "i expected you to try to hit the guy D:<!.....etc

  2. I'd say most women are NOT aware the equal is not quite everything they dream off.

Most women only want equal when it's good for them....and then snap right back into helpless women phase when it does not give them anything good.

I remember being younger when i first got my car.  My car insurance was way less then my bothers(even taking into account the different cars) as I was a girl.  Couple years later they passed the equal insurance act...and my rates shot up to match his.  Yea..equality.

I see women complain about this all the time.  The copy paper at work is a great example.  Everyone must get the box of paper if the machine runs out, you can't ask someone else to do it(company rule).  The guys have little trouble lifting the heavy paper box.  It's a bit more trouble for the women.  And if it's one of the attractive women, the guys will run over to help.

  3. men have pee pee women no have pee pee.

women have booby men have no booby.

women have baby men no have baby.

    men and women no eqwal.

  4. if equality means that women will be men and visa versa then no i dont need it....for me 100% equality means the ability of both men and women to accomplish their roles(nd im not saying that the roles should be stereotyped)with nothing to forbid them from doing that.

btw u will Never see a man treating a women as a man caus this is unnatural for me ...so nope i don worry

  5. You forgot not getting off of traffic tkts an have to buy thier own drinks at the bar.

  6. I make a fool of myself for a pretty lady.

  7. But....in those cases, why would the man stop for only a single woman in a broken down car? Not neccesarily because he's a nice guy and thinks that the fairer s*x should get a helping hand with her car, but so he can get into her pants.

And the whole point of equal rights is that women shouldn't have special priveledges just because they are women.

  8. my mate is an eighteen year old girl she broke down on the mororway and no one helped her. She had to wait for the AA (Roadside rescue) for 2 hours on her own. I dont know where all the helpful people (men and women) were then. That is society.

  9. Feminists don't want to be thaaat equal.  Just equal in selected situations.

  10. 'Selective emaincipation' refers to being treated as equals in some ways (e.g. voting) but retaining traditional benefits e.g. being able to hit a man without him being allowed to hit back.

  11. indeed. But do women actually want equality anyway, or the best of both worlds?

  12. I'm aware of them, and I would welcome them. It's about time more of us women learned to fix our own cars.

  13. Good point.

I know I'd hate to have to settle arguments with men, the way they like to do it.  I don't think I'd win many fistfights.  There's a couple of little weeny guys I've met that I could probably take.....but I couldn't see getting into a bar fight with some 6 foot tall stocky cowboy LOL.

I think most of the people who talk about equality for women, are talking about it in the workplace, etc....same pay for same job.

However, I think the equality should go both ways, if women want to get more respect in the workplace.  We can expect 1-6 months of PAID time off work just because we can have babies.....yet women without children, and men who do the same job and put just as much hard work into it, can't take 6 months paid time off to attend to their families or their personal affairs.

  14. This reminds me of an argument some of my friends had a while ago.  One of my friends is an extreme feminist, and the other just likes to play Devil's Advocate.  They were arguing about women's rights, and he told her, "Feminists don't want equality, they just want the bias to be on their side."

I have to agree with him.  Honestly, most of the women I know, even most of the feminists, would be offended if people didn't hold the door open for them or help them if they dropped something.

Ha, I guess you're right.  That's one of the big advantages of being a women.  If your car breaks down and you're a man, people will ignore you.  If your car breaks down and you're a woman, you'll have a lineup of guys wanting to help you.

  15. This is a boring argument. I know a lot of men who are helpless when their cars break down. Personally, I pay for private roadside assistance through my insurance company.

I have no objection to being treated as "just another man."  As a feminist, that's what I strive for. To be a person, not pigeonholed because of my gender.

  16. I don't think women should stand by the side of the road like a helpless infant and expect somebody to rescue her. People (both genders) should learn enough about car maintenance to be able to help them selves in an emergency. There are enough nut cases running around just waiting for the chance to perhaps rape and murder some damsel in distress who thinks all men are knights in shining armor. By the way, doesn't "some fat black man" deserve help in an emergency?

  17. I am with doodlebug.  there is a  strong desire in many women to decide whaer they want equality and where (and when) they want traditional considerations.  This is a towering hypocris, in my opinion, but I will still go out of my way in the right situation.

As for the girl left alone when her car broke down, look at it from the male view for a second: I pull over to help her and she is concerned that this big bloke stopped for more than just to change a flat tyre.  Sure, she was at risk on her own, but in modern society, any man would have been at risk if they had stopped.  Fear of men in many circumstances: the suspicious glances if I walk anywhere near a woman when it is dark and so on, makes many men unwilling to put themselves at risk.

  18. We are all equally unequal.  I think most are aware of that...are you?

Men would get their children 50% of the time.

    They would not pay alimony.

They would not pay child support.

Women would get the same sentence for the same crime.

Women would sign up for Selective Services.

Women would fight on the front lines.

There are many, many things that would become more equal.
