  1. 1.   y=(3/4)(x-4)

    2.    (x-3b)^2+(y-b)^2=1

  2. 4x+3y=2

    transform to y=mx+b

    3y= -4x+2

    y= -4/3x+2/3

    m= -4/3

    then since it is perpendicular, get the negative reciprocal of the slope

    m=3/4

    then use Y-Y1=m(X-X1)

    *1 is a subscript

    Y-0=3/4(X-4)

    Y-0=3/4x-3

    Y=3/4x-3

    thats the equation of the line in the form y=mx+b

    if its in the form ax+by=c, it will be 3x-4y=12

    for number 2, use this (x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

    where h and k are the centers

    hope this helps
