PS: There is a scholarship from the AQHA: You qualify if you have an AQH, and been part of AQHA for at least 3 yrs, I think. Check AQHA Website.

  5. Are you looking for just the general Equine Science?  I finished my Equine Studies in 2005 at SUNY Cobleskill (located in Cobleskill, NY).  It was an awesome school and when I was leaving they were expanding their barns and adding tons more.  In fact I am thinking about going back to further my education in this field.  Here is there site if you are interested.

  6. If I were you, I would buy the book, "Carreers with Horses" by Vickie Hogue-Davies, I got it for christmas last year and now know where I will be attending college, at Colorado State. It prepares you for everything and covers many careers, and thier education requirements, and schools that meet those requirements. as well as discssing how to approach the job when you get out of college. I would recommend this book to anybody looking to take a career with horses. Hope you like it as much as I do!!

  7. I got my Equine Studies degree from Lake Erie College in Painesville, OH.  Good program, nice lesson horses.
