what a levels, o levels or gcse's i need to quialify to train as one,

what they do and all tht stuff :-D

  1. You'll need to take as many pre vet courses as you can; you'd better be skilled at college level math.  Find out what the requirements are to enter a veterinary college.  Call and request a schedule of courses...you'll see what classes you have to take prior to vet school.

Well, I live in Canada, and the way it works here is in high school, you have to take University level math and University level sciences, and then you have to get accepted into a Bachelor of Science program and major in an animal related study. The Bc.S takes 4 years to complete, and then you have to apply to a Veterinary College, and this takes 4 years. If you want to specialize in horses, you just take more course studys that involve equines and large animals.

    After that, you should probably work as someone's apprentice. Horse vets do everything from give shots, deliver foals, etc.

    Again this is in Canada, so if you live somewhere else, I don't know what goes on in your area...
