Equipment fails after hub is used

Question

I have a USB204N-F 4-port USB Hub .. over time i have plugged all my usb equipment into it at on point or another. the problem is now my computer will not reconize the equipment unless the equipment is plugged in to the Hub!!! ''USB DEVICE NOT RECONIZED!!'' device has malfunctiond and windows does not reconize it for help click the box.help all i want to do is plug my stuuf in directly again.
