  1. yes in the zoo (wolves etc came as humans did across the ice bridge through north america)

most large animals that live on islands where brought there so...

these are usually pigs, goats and not lions, tigers and bears (oh my).

  2. May be only of the human type.

  3. Hawaii never had any significant predators other than some sea birds.  Then man showed up.  Then white man showed up.  Then dogs and cats entered the picture.  But no wolves.

  4. As far as i know there r no any wolves or foxes in Hawaii.

Hawaii has few native mammals and most of the islands’ interiors are inhabited by wild pigs, horses, sheep and goats brought by early settlers..

  5. nope

  6. No, there are no wolves, cougars, or foxes in Hawaii.  In spite of what Delbertthegrand stated there are none of these in the zoo either.  Hawaii is very protective of it's environment and doesn't allow these animals into the state, even for zoo display.

  7. It'd be difficult for mammals of that size to reach islands a heck of a long way from the nearest continent, and none did on their own.  People brought cats and dogs with them.
