Erase files

Question

when I start my laptop it starts to beep about five or six times, I mainly use it for cakewalk pro audio which is a music program for midi. when I have the program up it will start to glitch when I have the playlist up it will all of a sudden erase the playlist also when I go to open up a file it will want to send it to the recycle bin
