Is the ability to easily get and maintain an erection any indication of the general health of a 68 year old male?

  4. not really, in fact it could indicate hypertension.  always best to get an annual check up.

  5. If you are failing to get an erection at this age, you need to discuss it with your Doctor the next time you have a check-up.  If you are not scheduled for one soon, you should go get this checked out.

    My Doctor gives me an annual check-up and he always asks if I have any problems getting or maintaining erections.  Failure to do so could be a sign of prostate problems (but not necessarily).  Could be just part of the aging process.  You will NOT have the same amount of erections as a 20 year old nor will they be as stiff.

    If you are getting regular, stiff erections, he does not mean you are in very good health.  Even sick guys sometimes still get strong erections.
