Eredivisie: De Graafschap 1-1 FC Twente, Michel Preud'homme disappointed with the stalemate

Michel Preud'homme, the Tukkers manager, was visibly disappointed after his side lost points against the struggling Superboeren. However, the Belgian trainer remains hopeful that his side can still defend their title successfully.
Preud’homme said, “It's not over yet. We will keep fighting. We are no longer in control. We made a mistake and our competitors do not. The draw here was little to be desired.”

Rogier Meijer's header in the dying minutes of the match levelled the score-line.
Preud’homme added, “That was a fluke. Then we had the advantage of course. In fact, we probably had greater distance with them. That did not succeed and that's not good.”

On the other hand, the Super Farmers were ecstatic to bag a point against the reigning Eredivisie champions. Darije Kalezic, Super Farmers manager, was pleased with his troops’ performance on the pitch.
Kalezic said, “It is clear that we have made steps in our development. It is always difficult to play against FC Twente, that team has some outstanding players with great quality. But I think the odds were in our favour.”
The Super Farmers are currently placed 15th in the league table, six points clear of the relegation zone. The home side would be looking to emulate this performance in the remaining encounters of the season in order to finish the season on a high
note.
