The match took place at De Koel and Roda JC Kerkrade won it by ease. It was a performance by teams from the middle of the table; however, this season both teams have had their stunts to amaze fans.
VVV Venlo came 12th last season in their domestic league. Nonetheless, a top 10 position was snatched from them though they had an amazing campaign by their standards and their manager Jan van Dijk was witness to that.
On the other hand, Roda JC Kerkrade came 9th in the league last season having gained a place in top 10 with their amazing free flowing passing. That, however, was one of their featuring signatures last season. This season
they are performing for the better and their manager Harm van Veldhoven is exuberant about it.
