Eren Derdiyok confident of a successful season ahead with Leverkusen- Bundesliga news
Bayer Leverkusen striker Eren Derdiyok is confident that his team will have a successful season this term. He insisted that the win against Wolfsburg has proved the fact that the team is capable to beat any team in the league if
it plays to the potential. He also hailed the manager for putting his confidence in him and was delighted with the goal in the previous match.

The win against the Wolves means that Leverkusen climbed to the ninth place in the Bundesliga with 13 points from the eight games played.
Derdiyok stated that it is a good time for the team to return to form as there is still a lot of games left in the season. He admitted that the team has to keep its calm and show the same determination in the future games so that
they can challenge for major honours in the current season.
“We have plenty of games ahead of us yet and anything can still happen. We need to stay cool and keep working hard and if we do, the performances will come. It doesn't matter whether we're playing in the Champions League or the
Bundesliga, there's always something at stake. That was clear against Wolfsburg as well,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The Swiss international hailed Robin Dutt for the confidence the manager had shown in him and was delighted to repay him with a brilliant goal. He admitted that he wants to continue scoring goals in the future to help his side
get results.
“I've never given up, regardless of whether I was playing or not. That's why the coach picked me and I was able to respond by showing him his faith wasn't misplaced,” he concluded.
Bayer Leverkusen have a tough test next week as they face Borussia Monchengladbach.
