Eric Abidal rejected the captaincy of France national team – International news

While talking to French sports daily L’Equipe, Abidal said that he is not willing to play that role which means that the responsibility could be handed to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 goalkeeper Hugo Lloris or AC Milan defender Philippe Mexes.

“If I have something to say about a particular point, I’ll say it whether I’m a captain or not,” confessed Abidal who had said that he did not like the role of a leader of a team.
