The French tactician felt content as his side managed to earn a well-deserved victory against Ligue 1 opponents, Olympique de Marseille. The French side dominated throughout most of the game, as the win marks the start of a good year for the club.
Olympique de Marseille were left stunned by FC Sochaux-Montbeliard, as they suffered a 3-1 loss at the Stade Auguste Bonal. Sochuax coach, Eric Hely was delighted following the victory, as he praised his team for their great performance. The coach feels
that the win would lift the spirits of Les Lionceaux, who have been struggling near the bottom of the table for much of the first-half of the season.
The match proved to be a thrilling encounter between the two sides. However the playing conditions weren’t entirely optimistic for both of the teams, due to the tough weather conditions. Eric Hely felt content at his team’s performance, and hopes that his
side keeps on producing such displays.
The under-pressure coach found it necessary that the club needs to do well in their second-half, if they’re to secure their position in the Ligue 1. Sochaux responded to the coach’s call, as they defeated title favourites, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127. The coach
said:
“We're satisfied. In the first half we did some good things. We suffered after Lopy was sent off but the players battled for each other and got their reward.”
The French tactician wanted his players to play through balls, in an effort to breakdown the opponents defence, and that is exactly what they did. The coach was happy that his instructions were followed in the game, as it eventually led them to the victory.
The Frenchman also insisted that the team needs to continue their run of good performances. He said:
“The idea was to play the ball in behind their defenders. It was a day when it was written in the stars that we'd win. Our strikers took their chances. We need to find consistency now.”
Hely believes that the well-earned points against Les Phoceens would prove to be a major contribution in their bid to retain their spot in the top tier of French football. The 48-year-old felt relieved as Les Lionceaux managed to register their sixth win
in the Championnat, stating:
“The three points have boosted the morale of everybody here as we'd not won for a long time. A coach's http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 is always easier when you're winning.”
