Eric Simons appointed as head coach of Delhi Daredevils – Cricket News Update

Former Indian pacer, Thirumalai Sekar, who worked as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 Indians’ Team Manager for the past two years, has also returned to DD as its mentor.
GMR Sports' Business Chairman, Kiran K Grandhi, made the announcement on Thursday and welcomed Simon's joining alongside Sekar's comeback. He hoped that the side will produce good results under the command of these two giants.
"I am sure that Simons' taking over as Head Coach and Sekar's return as Mentor will help the team overcome the disappointments of last season and become most competitive again," Grandhi said.
The Virender Sehwag-led Daredevils performed terribly in the previous edition of the lucrative T20 League, and won only four of their 14 matches. Moreover, the skipper injured his shoulder leaving the side in the midst of the tournament.
Like the team management, Sehwag is also delighted over Simons’ inclusion in the DD setup, and said that he is looking forward to work with the former South African fast bowler.
