later received a 10 day ban and a hefty fine for his misconduct.
Reports in the media suggested that the row started when Lamela blasted Osvaldo for his wastefulness in front of goal against Fiorentina. However, the Argentine international has blasted the media for their over exaggerated news,
and insisted that he did not say anything as such.
The 19-year-old admitted that he the disagreement has become a part of past now, and everything is settled.
“The disagreement with Pablo is part of the past now,” he told La Roma in an interview. “He apologised for the incident. However, one thing is for certain, I never said: ‘You are not Maradona’ to him as was written in the newspapers.
To be honest, I don’t understand where such rumours come from…”
