Ajax Amsterdam midfield maestro, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Eriksen-c9074, has insisted that he is in no hurry of leaving his current side, and will only move abroad when he will consistently put in impressive displays against every opposition in Eredivisie.
The 20-year-old has stressed that he must emulate the consistency shown by his former teammate, Jan Vertonghen, before moving away from Amsterdam Arena.
Vertonghen, who represented the Amsterdam giants in well over 100 games during his six seasons stay at Amsterdam Arena, joined Tottenham Hotspur before the start of the 2012/13 campaign in the summer transfer window.
“Jan Vertonghen is a good example for me. Last season he played a few bad matches before Christmas as well, but after the winter break he was extremely good every game”, Eriksen was quoted as saying to De Telegraaf.
The Danish wonder-kid went on to stress that he must prove that he is the best midfielder playing in the highest echelons of Dutch football before joining an elite European club.

The technically gifted midfielder, who has thus far netted 17 goals while amassing plenty of assists in 90 league games since making his debut at Amsterdam Arena in January 2010, has been staging scintillating shows since the start of the ongoing campaign.
With six goals and 10 assists already to his name in 21 games in all competitions, the 20-year-old must be proud of his performances. However, the Danish international has revealed that he is still not content with his showings on the pitch.
“I'm not satisfied yet. Maybe it's usual with young guys like me, but it's not good that I only played well in big games. That would be too easy, because everybody can charge himself for these matches”, Eriksen concluded.
The midfield maestro has an ongoing contract at Amsterdam Arena until the summer of 2014.
