KEIO optical mouse m/n p816driver version:5.1.2600.0 Microsoft 2001system:AMD 2000xp+1gig ram130 gig hdWindowsXP home SP2 recently updateddvd burner cdrwNvidia gforce 5200 video cardMy Mouse suddenly started behaving erractically. Sometimes it just wonders around the screen at random in an erratic zigzag fashion other times it will zip across the screen in any direction. If I lift the mouse off of the desk to reposition it the pointer almost always shoots to the bottom right corner of the screen. It is also a wheel mouse and in some webpages when I am scrolling down the page when I stop to read something suddenly it scrolls very fast towards the bottom of the screen.I primarily play Everquest on this machine and the mouse does the same things when playing the game.I have removed and reinstalled the mouse driver several times to no avail. I have changed to an older ball mouse, to a different optical mouse and tried several other ideas that folks on other forums have posted about. This is the second time I have had this trouble. I don't remember what fixed it before, but I thought it was simply reloading the mouse driver.I havn't tried wiping the harddrive and totally reloading everything yet But I might.. someone posted in another forum that they did and it fixed things for a short time.I have ran two or three spyware programs as well as a couple virus probrams. (detection programs that is) My system seems to be clean from those annoyances.Any ideas?Thanks,Core
