Error 432

Question

Not sure if I'm in the right group....but here is my problem.  I'm running on Windows 2000 and I'm trying to install a D-Link DP-311P Wireless Print Server and I keep getting the following error message:  "ERROR 432 Setup has detected that uninstallshield is in use.  Please close uninstallshield and restart setup."  I called tech support at D-Link and they tell me its a Microsoft issue. Is this a Microsoft issue? And where can I find instructions to fix this problem?
